About Us (Mechanical Engineering(R&AC))

We are the first institution in Tamil Nadu to start Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) in the year 1982. Being an autonomous institution, we revise our syllabus and curriculum at par with the expectations of industry. This fetches good placement opportunities for our students. Most of our alumni are working in Middle East countries and in leading HVAC industries in India. We have a well-established laboratory to provide hands-on experience to the students.

About Laboratories

The Mechanical Engineering (R&AC) department has full-fledged lab facilities to cater the needs of the curriculum described by the DOTE, Chennai. As an autonomous institution, we are updating the equipment for our laboratories / workshops very often to cater the needs of the industries.

About Faculty

The department has a full strength of highly motivated and skilled faculty members, rendering their dedicated services to mould the students.
