Curriculum

The department concentrates only on continuous and consistent improvement of students during their period of study here. The students are given equal as well as more opportunities to make the teaching learning process tbetter and more effective.

The curriculum is revised every year based on the feedback received from leading academicians and industrialists to enrich the knowledge of the students. The revision is implemented after getting approval from the academic board of our institution and Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. The following core subjects are taught to the students:

As a Unique Program, Industry Based Elective subjects are offered to VI Term students of our department in collaboration with leading industries. Advanced teaching aids like SMART Board & LCD projectors are used in the teaching-learning process apart from conventional chalk & talk method. In addition to this, we have implemented the Work Sheet Methodology, Presentation for Laboratory classes and Moodles online test for assessing the performance of our students.
