Strength of Materials Lab
The students get hands on training in testing the quality of construction materials such as steel rebars, bricks, concrete cubes, cement, etc. Consultancy services are provided to private and government construction agencies for testing these construction materials.

Hydraulics and Plumbing laboratory
Students are enlightened about the modern plumbing fixtures and fittings. They are also taught for basic skills in taking measurements in hydraulic machineries and notches.

Survey Camp
Survey Camp is organized every year in even semester for the benefit of second year students at Kutralam for 1 week to have hands on practice in field work. Kutralam has a hilly terrain. The students are trained in doing survey using equipment such as dumpy level, chain, Theodolite and compass

- Assembling Column, beam & lintel cum sunshade rebar models

Testing of fresh concrete for its properties, mantling and dismantling of rebar models are done by students in this laboratoryMajor exercises

Students are trained in AutoCAD and SCADDS software. Students Projects related to design of buildings are done using these software.
