The Department of Civil Engineering is committed to create efficient Civil Technocrats catering to the growing needs of construction and allied industries and society
The Civil Department provides the students with in-depth knowledge on basic principles of Structural analysis, Structural engineering, Surveying, Modern Construction Materials, Environmental Engineering, Project Management, Geotechnical Engineering, Material Testing and Computer Aided Drafting.
The Civil Engineering Department is provided with modern teaching aids to enable the teaching learning process more efficient. The Department is also offering IBSE (Industry Based Special Elective) subjects to the third year students in association with industries so as to train the students to meet the needs of industry and shine in their career.
The students are encouraged to undergo practical training in different industries so as to get hands on experience. The students are also motivated to be socially responsible Engineers by involving them in Traffic survey for Rajapalayam Local Planning Authority (Smart City – Road inventory survey, Parking survey, Junction survey, etc.)
All the above factors make the students become expert in the field of Civil Engineering. Most of our recruiters are happy about the quality of output delivered by our students in the industry.
